Nestled in the heart of Colorado, Gilson Ranch is a part of the Thousand Peaks Ranch Private Community perfectly situated for those looking to experience the natural beauty and outdoor adventures of the state. This property sits in close proximity to some of the most breathtaking views and experiences Colorado has to offer. For those looking to spend time on the water, numerous reservoirs like Antero, Spinney, 11 Mile, and Lake George are less than 30 minutes away. Adventure seekers will love the proximity to Buena Vista for river rafting in the canyon, and skiers and hikers alike will appreciate the quick drive to Breckenridge (just 40 minutes away). Guests staying at Gilson Ranch can easily explore the surrounding area by car, and we highly recommend our Turo rental cars which are available at Denver International Airport. As All-Star hosts on Turo, you can expect the same high quality from our vehicles as you do from our homes. Please note that during the winter months, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended as the roads can be snowy and icy. But even if you're not driving, keep your eyes peeled for the abundant wildlife in the area, including elk, moose, deer, and cows. With stunning views and natural beauty, the Colorado wilderness is yours to enjoy during your stay at Gilson Ranch.

Primary renter must be 25 or older. Damage protection is included with your booking, so there is no hold placed on your card and nothing further to arrange.

Dogs are welcome with a pet fee. The ranch sits at roughly 10,000 ft — hydrate hard the first day.

A 4WD or all-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly recommended December through April; the driveway is a private ranch road, plowed after storms. Free on-site parking is included with room for multiple vehicles and trailers.
