Two king suites, a chef's kitchen with indoor wood-burning oven, outdoor hot tub for stargazing, and an indoor jet tub for when the weather turns. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a dedicated workspace with monitor and printer — for guests who want to work remotely without compromising on setting.

Step outside at dusk and elk or pronghorn are likely moving through the meadow. In June and July the plateau blooms. After dark, the Milky Way is visible with the naked eye — no equipment, no driving, no planning.

Guests staying at Gilson Ranch can easily explore the surrounding area by car, and we highly recommend our Turo rental cars which are available at Denver International Airport. As All-Star hosts on Turo, you can expect the same high quality from our vehicles as you do from our homes. Please note that during the winter months, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended as the roads can be snowy and icy. But even if you're not driving, keep your eyes peeled for the abundant wildlife in the area, including elk, moose, deer, and cows. With stunning views and natural beauty, the Colorado wilderness is yours to enjoy during your stay at Gilson Ranch.

Before your stay, we'll ask you to complete a quick identity verification through our guest portal — it takes just a few minutes and ensures every Gilson stay is seamless and secure. A valid driver's license and rental agreement are all that's needed to confirm your check-in details.

A $250 security deposit is collected prior to arrival — similar to a hotel holding a credit card on file — and released in full after checkout once all access items are returned. Guests may also choose a non-refundable Damage Waiver instead, selected during the pre-arrival verification process.
